Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Knotline iOS application, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge thePrivacy Policy.
Knotline is developed and operated by Yuhang Dong.
If you use Knotline for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. Do not use the Service if you do not agree to these Terms.
The Service
Knotline is a project-focused control surface for viewing selected facts from external developer services. You choose system-defined components, connect compatible provider resources, and refresh their data from the app.
The Service is designed for convenient, high-level review. It is not an emergency alerting system, a system of record, a financial or accounting service, or a replacement for a provider’s own dashboard and notices. Data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by provider definitions and API limits.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the Service only where permitted by law and these Terms;
- connect only accounts, projects, applications, and resources you are authorized to access;
- provide accurate information and keep your device and credentials secure;
- review a provider credential’s effective permissions before importing or authorizing it; and
- promptly revoke or rotate credentials you believe may be compromised.
You must not:
- use the Service to access another person’s data or systems without authorization;
- interfere with, probe, overload, or circumvent the Service’s security or limits;
- introduce malware or use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
- resell or commercially redistribute the Service without permission; or
- reverse engineer the Service except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
Provider connections and credentials
When you connect a provider, you authorize Knotline to use the credential or grant for the read-only operations presented in the app. Knotline does not gain ownership of your provider account or data. You remain responsible for complying with the provider’s terms, policies, and permission requirements.
Some providers do not offer a narrowly scoped credential for every supported fact. A key may therefore have broader technical access than Knotline uses. The app limits its behavior to an explicit read-only operation allowlist, but you are responsible for deciding whether the provider’s available scope is appropriate for your account.
Removing a card does not revoke a provider credential. Use the connection-management controls to disconnect a provider, and use the provider’s own dashboard when remote revocation is required.
Ownership and feedback
The Knotline name, software, interface, visual design, documentation, and other content are owned by Yuhang Dong or the applicable licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You retain your rights in project names, provider data, and other information you lawfully use with the Service. If you voluntarily send feedback, you allow Knotline to use it without restriction or compensation, provided that doing so does not grant Knotline rights in your confidential provider data or credentials.
Third-party services
Knotline interoperates with services operated by others, including Cloudflare, RevenueCat, and Apple. Those services are not controlled by Knotline and may change their APIs, data, terms, availability, pricing, or permissions at any time.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by your relationship with that provider. Knotline is not responsible for third-party systems, data accuracy, outages, security, or acts and omissions, except where responsibility cannot be excluded by law.
Cloudflare
A Cloudflare connection uses either Cloudflare’s published OAuth authorization flow or an Account API Token you manually import. OAuth is the recommended option. Before you approve OAuth, Cloudflare shows the requesting application, selected account, resources, and requested permissions. For an Account API Token, you are responsible for limiting its account resources and permissions to the read access disclosed by Knotline. Knotline stores either credential in iOS Keychain and uses it only for its fixed read-only requests. You may revoke an OAuth grant or revoke or rotate an imported token from your Cloudflare account. Your use of Cloudflare services remains subject to the agreement that applies to your Cloudflare account, which may include the Cloudflare Self-Serve Subscription Agreement. See Cloudflare’s third-party OAuth authorization documentation for provider instructions on reviewing and revoking access.
RevenueCat
In the current version, you connect a RevenueCat project by supplying a dedicated API v2 Secret API key that you are authorized to create and use. You direct Knotline to use that credential only for the disclosed read operations and remain responsible for choosing the available permissions, protecting the key, and revoking or rotating it in RevenueCat when appropriate. Your RevenueCat account and API use remain subject to the RevenueCat Terms and Conditions and its current authentication documentation.
Provider names and marks
Provider names and marks identify compatible third-party services and remain the property of their respective owners. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Knotline is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an authorized reseller or partner of Cloudflare, Inc., RevenueCat, Inc., or Apple Inc. Published APIs, documentation, or press assets do not by themselves establish such a relationship.
Cloudflare, the Cloudflare logo, and Cloudflare Workers are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States and other jurisdictions. See the Cloudflare Trademark Guidelines. RevenueCat and its associated marks are owned by RevenueCat, Inc.; its published press kit is provided for reference. Apple and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the United States and other countries and regions.
These provider references document the terms and authorization mechanisms relevant to an integration. They are not a representation that a provider has reviewed, certified, or approved Knotline. If a provider agreement or written permission conflicts with this summary, the provider document controls.
Availability, changes, and termination
The Service may change as providers and product requirements evolve. Components or integrations may be added, revised, suspended, or removed. We may also limit or suspend access to protect the Service, comply with law, respond to abuse, or address security and operational risks.
You may stop using Knotline at any time. Disconnect providers before deleting the app if you want the app to remove their protected local credentials. Where a provider requires separate revocation, you must complete it in that provider’s dashboard.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and“as available.” Knotline disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will always be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You are responsible for decisions and actions taken based on information shown in Knotline. Always verify critical operational, financial, security, release, and subscription information with the relevant provider before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knotline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
General terms
If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without permission; Knotline may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, providers, or legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. For questions about these Terms, email knotline-support@artifact-kit.com or visit Knotline Support. Do not include credentials, private keys, authorization codes, or sensitive provider payloads in your message.
